Love this game! Well worth the price and doesnt involve any inApp Purchases Crap

Just finished this game. Absolutely brilliant. Think Wall-E (the movie, not the game) but Evas a nuclear warhead. Gameplay-wise, think The Incredible machine or Aragon only youre in the middle of the contraption youre building trying not to get fried in the process. And sometimes things come out to actively try to fry you. And like Wall-E, it gets surprisingly emotional and philosophical toward the end and slides beautifully into its misanthropic ending. The puzzles are hard, so are very satisfying to solve, but also frustrating since toward the end it looks more like a bullet storm vertical shooter than a puzzler, so any unintentional twitch at the wrong time or in the wrong direction earns you a face full of laser and a chance to replay a 5-minute sequence of puzzles from the start, which naturally discourages trial-and-error gameplay and makes you really observe, understand, think and plan instead. GET IT!

I cant find a place to ask for support, but on iPhone 4s, level 6, after getting past first laser test and cut scene, game goes unresponsive. I cant move, cant take any actions. Music keeps playing so it doesnt sound like its locked up :(

This is the first iOS review Ive written in 3 years, which already should say something about the absolute wonder that this game is. Clarc is one of the most ingenious games Ive ever played, and an indie game no less. Its one of the few "undiscovered" gems left in the App Store, but I suspect and hope that this status wont last long. The graphics, music, gameplay, design, puzzles, story, and especially the cell-shading make Clarc more than a pleasure to play. As a game developer myself with over 500 iOS games in my iTunes library, I can safely say that Clarc is one of, if not the best, iOS titles that Ive ever played.

This is pretty close to being a perfect game. Every aspect — exposition, artwork, puzzle progression — has a clear and well-considered approach. Lovely. I originally deducted one star for lack of multitasking support (in 2014? really?) and for the somewhat wonky controls, but now that I’m near the end of the game, I love it even more.

with awesome art style. however game center achievements seem buggy because Im on on level 4 and I havent unlocked any!?

CLARC has a wonderfully cute story complemented by some truly devious action puzzles. Its also got the only virtual D-Pad that Ive enjoyed playing with. An impressively long mobile adventure in an app that doesnt pester you at all. Im looking forward to whatever the developers put their energy into next!
